Kingsdale is accredited by various veterinary associations and maintain memberships in key veterinary organizations.

Kingsdale Animal Hospital has been an accredited member of the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) since 1995, andrecently (September, 2001) received a four-year accreditation, the highest achievement possible. We voluntarily have our hospital evaluated by their trained personnel who ensure that we maintain the veterinary care standards of the association.

The evaluation involves all aspects of our facility and service, including: medical and laboratory equipment, record keeping, hospital maintenance, diagnostic skills, veterinary library, patient care and safety. Only a small percentage of veterinary hospitals in Canada and the USA meet the standards necessary to be accredited by the AAHA.

Kingsdale is also accredited by the CVO. The College of Veterinarians of Ontario (CVO) regulates the practice of veterinary medicine in Ontario to protect the public interest. The CVO licenses veterinarians, inspects and accredits veterinary facilities whose premises meet the standards required under the Veterinarians Act.
