National Service Dogs (NSD):
…“enriching the quality of life and enhancing the independence
of children and families living with autism and special needs.”
National Service Dogs is a non-profit, registered charity based in Waterloo Region that trains and provides dogs to assist children with autism. It is the only organization in North America that focuses on this need, and trains up to 40 dogs per year to place with families both locally and across the continent.

Farley Foundation:
Kingsdale AH annually raises funds for The Farley Foundation, a non-profit organization run by the Ontario Veterinary Medical Association, that helps disabled and senior pet owners on limited incomes pay for medical and surgical care for their pets. www.farleyfoundation.com
Kitchener-Waterloo Humane Society:
Kingsdale AH is a proud supporter of the Kitchener-Waterloo Humane Society. We provide emergency medical services for pets in need. In addition, we also provide surgical services (spaying/neutering) to help keep pets healthy and reduce potential over-population.

Ontario Veterinary College - Pet Trust Fund:
A charity of the Ontario Veterinary College, Pet Trust provides funding for research into various pet diseases at the College. Kingsdale AH regularly donates to the Pet Trust in memory of pets who have passed away, and through a chocolate bar sale at our hospital. www.pettrust.ca
Various Fostering Programs:
Some of our clients have graciously denoted their time and resources in fostering animals with various groups and organizations. We work closely with these clients and organizations to provide medical and surgical assistance where needed. Kitchener-Waterloo Pet Food Drive
Kingsdale Animal Hospital actively supports the K-W Pet Food Bank. Not only do we donate food to this great cause but we also serve as a depot for where clients may drop of pet food for those in need. We then arrange delivery of the food to the the Pet Food Bank warehouse where it is then disseminated to those who are in need.
